On Saturday 27th September, Hawthorn Football Club won the 2008 Premiership when they defeated Geelong 115-89 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
On the following Monday the team flew to Tasmania to show the Premiership Cup to their Tasmanian supporters. TreeSmart was very pleased, under the circumstances, to extend their 2008 sponsorship to offset the emissions from this extra flight.
